2022 Follette Lab graduates Morales, Jiang, and Gomez are awarded AAS Chambliss Awards/Honorable Mentions
Follette Lab seniors Julio Morales, Lillian Jiang, and Sierra Gomez were recognized for their excellent poster presentations at the June 2022 American Astronomical Society meeting in Pasadena with Chambliss Astronomy Achievement Awards. All three presented their senior capstone research (thesis/independent study) work. Julio was one of 5 undergraduates awarded the Chabliss medal, and Lillian and Sierra were among the 17 undergraduates who received honorable mentions.
